We actually woke up to a bit of sun this morning surprisingly, buy late morning the clouds rolled in. We decided to take a drive into the next town, Fleur de Lys, a little bit larger town with a store, museum, and a couple more hiking trails. We went to the Soapstone museum, but it was not yet open for the season. We opted to do the 3 mile hike that goes by the Soapstone quarry, which is soft rock that was used to carve tools, bowls, etc. 1500 years ago by indigenous peoples of the area. The hike took us up the hill and to a lookout point with some great views. We could see the rain coming so we came back getting caught in the rain, and a bit wet from the knees down. Back to camp for lunch, and some binge TV until the rain subsides.
