Coachman's Cove |
Today was a spectacular picture perfect day as we approach the 4000 mile mark. No photoshop needed, the sky was blue, the water was clear, the mountains were green, and we got us a camp spot right on the cusp of it all. I got up early this morning, the sun was shining, and I got a feeling that we needed to roll. Yoli? Not so much, I caught hell for rushing Yoli out of bed to be on the road by 8am. This is just not how we usually roll, I admit, my bad, but I had a feeling it was going to be a glorious day and I did not want to miss it. We have had too much wind and rain, and cold temps, today was picture perfect. It was only 111 mile drive, we made a couple stops, one at foodland, and one at a liquor store. We were loaded with groceries, gas, and propane, so north we rolled. We pulled into Coachman's cove and drove to the end of the road where we setup camp at the municipal park right on the water. It was flat out beautiful. We popped out the awing, mat, chairs, and BBQ grill, and settled in. The view of the harbor and ocean was amazing. I got out the drown, and took some awesome pics. We grilled some burgers and made some awesome sliders, and poured up some happy hour beverages. We mingled with the locals, toasted to the gods, and gave thanks for this beautiful spot on the ocean with sunshine. Such a beauty beyond words.
