Travel day today as we made our way from Riley Creek campground at the entrance to Denali National Park 30 miles into the park where we will be 4 nights at Teklanika River Campground. We got moving early and were packed, dumped, filled, and on the road by 10am. It was a 1.5 hour drive into the park at 15-25mph plus stops to view wildlife. Best view of the day was a bear and caribou. No rain getting to camp but shortly after noon light rain on and off the rest of the day. We did get a couple hour hike in before the rain along the Teklanika river bed. No wildlife but we did spot some moose and bear prints in the mud. Chris and Alex took the bus deeper into the park, Yoli and I stayed back and took a nap while the light rain came down. Yoli fixed yummy sliders for dinner, then we settled in for some Starlink/Netflix binge watching.
