Our first full day in Homer, we E-Bike out on the spit to the harbor, shops, and restaurants. We tour the boat docks, shop the shops, the have some fish and chips and clam chowder at the Boardwalk Fish & Chips. We decided to book a trip to Seldovia Alaska tomorrow on the ferry. We plan to take our bikes and make a day of it. To finish off our days adventure, we drove out East End Road beyond Homer. We did a short hike at a state park and saw some awesome glacier views across the bay. We also got long walk or two on the beach as well. The tide is 20+ feet so it goes out quite a ways. Everyone from the campground is out walking and letting their dogs run, splash, and chase sticks. Some kids actually went swimming, but at 59 degrees, we are not going in the water for sure. Some kite boarders were out as well cutting it up in wet suits. Too cold for me for that as well. Another night of Netflix and the day is over for us, Tomorrow, we adventure to Seldovia across Kachemech bay, a 45 minute ferry ride with bikes in tow.
