Travel days to New England. We have 508 miles to get there so we we broke it down into two days. Day 6 after Reston Sister visit, we made it to New Jersey for a noisy rest stop next to the freeway. Not a great night sleep for sure. We got up early and were on the road by 8am. It was Saturday and traffic was much less than expected as we crossed the Mario Cumo Bridge through New York and into Connecticut. We stopped at an overview in Mystic CT for lunch then easily made it into Newport RI to our next extended stay at the Meadowlark RV Park with full hookups for 4 nights.
