We did not sleep well, only 5-6 hours of sleep. We still got up around 7am, had our coffee, went for a short walk, then back on the road. No rain today and overcast in the 70’s so pleasant driving but lots of truck traffic, surprising for Sunday and Mothers day. We stopped three times for a food break or fuel. On our fuel up at the truck stop, I weighed the rig and we came in a bit over weight by about 1300 pounds on the back axle and 1000 pounds over the GCVW overall weight. Not great but expected. We have oversized tires (higher load) and I have added air bags on the back end to help support the weight. Maybe that is why it drives well for a gas rig, we are heavy. Tonight we pulled into a rest stop in Jackson, TN early around 7-7:30, took a hot shower and called it a day.
