Day 19: Four More Icebergs

We got up early this morning 8am! and were off by 9am. We had a great spot but it was very windy through the night and a bit overcast. The view and right on the ocean was awesome, but we found out that some Icebergs were in St. Anthony at our destination at the tip of the West Coast of Newfoundland. Today we headed north up the west coast in beautiful sunshine, but a bit of wind, so we had to keep on our toes to stay on the road. We had a bit of a problem with the jeep on the rough roads as it did not want to stay behind us. It is called the "Death Wabble" where the jeep starts veering right and left after hitting a rut in the road and the only way I can stop the left and right whipping of the jeep is to come to a full stop on the highway, not a good thing to do, but was all I could do. The roads were so bad, we finally unhooked the Jeep and Yoli drove it the last 60 miles to our destination in St. Anthony. We did see our second iceberg driving along the shore and a moose actually crossed the road in front of us, but otherwise was uneventful. We made it to our boondock spot, and then took a drive up north to Saint Lunaire-Griquet where an iceberg was reported. We were not disappointed, We saw three icebergs and all were spectacular. We then made our way to the visitor center and explored some local crafts and souvenirs. We got back to camp around 5-6pm, played a few games of 10's, had some dinner than settled in for the night with some Netflix, research, and blog updates. Except for the Jeep issue, it was a great day, gotta figure out what to do about the jeep and wabble issue for sure.
