May 24: Today we head to the border and into Canada. I forgot our whole folder of paper work, so I had to get Don & Jaqueta our neighbors to go into our house and scan some docs to email to me. Border guys did not even ask about vehicle info, insurance, registration, etc. they were just concerned about what we were bringing into Canada, guns, produce, drugs, etc. They had us pull over and they searched the RV while we waited outside. We were cleared and on our way, did not lose any produce, eggs, or food like we thought we might. All good, and no crowds, only one car was in front of us. Evidently the herd is not going north just yet for the summer. It is May 24th the Friday before Memorial day at 5pm and I thought many people would be at the crossing. Non-event, so we moved on to Wal-mart for the night in Sussex, NB Canada. It started to rain at the border crossing and we got wet all the way to Sussex. I saw that Don and Jaqueta were outside playing corn hole enjoying the last of the cool weather in Texas from our security camera when checking on the house tonight.
