We drove a wopping 44 miles today from Pippy Park in St. John's to La Manche provincial park. We drove past Bay Bulls and Witless cove, and Tors cove to get here. All good spots for adventure. It was a cloudy day, cold, and some light rain. Craig and Kim got left Pippy park yesterday and got a boondock spot in Tors cove at a local boat launch spot. I thought it might be a bit tight and busy, so we opted for the Provincial park just 15 minutes down the road. We drove back to Tors cove and it was so foggy would could not even see Fox Island just a few hundred yards off shore. Called it a night and plan to go Cod fishing tomorrow in the kayaks.
