Today was a travel day, a long drive of only 31 miles. It was a beautiful sunny day and we hated to leave such a beautiful place here in Bonavista by the lighthouse. We still have much more to see. Kim and Yolanda take off before noon and head to the town of Trinity to take a local walking tour and check out the shops. I go for a last walk to the lighthouse, watch some whales pass by, check out the fox at the fox den, some more puffins, then back to camp. Craig and I bust camp around 1:30 and wave goodbye to good times on the peninsula. We scored another great boondock spot right on the bay at English Harbour where all the locals gawk and slow down as they pass to check us out. This is certainly an out of the way place most tourist do not come to. We are the only RV and have not seen any others, not even vans, just locals. We see whales and have ring side seat as the waves crash 30 feet from our chairs. We eat left overs for dinner, Yolanda took a nap, and we headed out at 7:30pm to Trinity Theater for a community show.
