The fog came in last night and was still lingering this morning. We sleep in, have coffee, then around noon we decide to take a drive to Trinity lighthouse and new Bonaventure. We stop by an off the road place on the way and I mean off the road. We drive down some dirt paths that we spread the bushes with the jeep and squeeze through at sections. The target was an old abandon railroad and carnival. We get there and find some old train cars and out buildings, the remains of a ferris wheel, and a miniature golf area. Its by a lake and is quite abandon. We take some pictures, then move on to the lighthouse with some great cliff views and of Trinity in the bay. Next stop was New Bonaventure where a movie set was made for a movie call Random Passage. We stop by the old church and tea room where some local entertainment was going on, it was Sunday, so many people were there. On the way back to the camper, we stop in Trinity at the harbor restaurant for some awesome seafood chowder and the best apple dumpling I have ever had. We sip some coffee, then head home and call it a day.
