It was a bit overcast today so we decided to take a drive out to the point to see what we could see of the "Damnable Trail" word play on "Dam the Bell" from old folklore. Damnable trail consists of a series of hiking trails out the peninsula ending in a harbor town named Salvage. We stopped in several small towns along the way, but mainly enjoyed the coastal harbor drive. All in all, it was only about 75 miles. Today was Canada Day that is celebrated like our July 4th. Lots of Red flags, T-Shirts, but not much going on in this remote area. I only took two pictures all day! We did watch the Toronto Blue Jays play the Houston Astros on TV tonight and called it a day.
