We made it to Dildo last night that sits at the south end of Conception bay. We drove through town and out to Anderson's cove where we got a nice boondock spot on the beach and had a wonderful sunset. I flew the drone for some great sunset camp shots and then we fried up some fresh caught Cod and Capelin, compliments of Craig and Kim that caught them. We only came for one night as we planned to move on to St. John's today. But first, we stop in Dildo for some swag, a picture with Capt'n Dildo, and a chat with Bob at bob's place (pier on bay). Had a great chat with Bob the local, cool swag, then moved on to Grace Harbor where Amelia Earhart made her famous Trans-Atlantic flight from there to Europe. We also spy the S.S. Kyle that gounded in the Harbor and is now a derelict of rust. We snap some shots of the wreck, and memorial statue to Amelia, visit the runway where she took off, then back on the road to Pippy Park in St. John's.
