Today we did a road trip to Puerto Plato, the big city in the area. They even have a cruise port there and a couple ships were in, so thousands of people were all about town. We hit the main plaza, amber museum, the beach, and a roof top garden for drinks and a view. We got back around 3pm and headed to the beach for a quick swim and a beer at the Beach Point Bar. We all showered up and went for Chinese food on a recommendation from our villa host. It was packed, and it was good. Down town a political rally was going on with loud music and drinking. It's election time, so lots of billboards, and loud speakers on cars going up and down the streets. Fun day for a road trip and saw some interesting sights.
