| Seahorse Ranch - Again |
Yesterday and today were back to back rinse & repeat days. Alan went to kite beach, took to the water both days for some sun and fun kite boarding on Cabarete beach. The gang, Craig, Kim, and Yoli had a rest day at the villa pool playing cards, napping, and soaking up the warm Cabarete vibe. Yesterday was Superbowl Sunday so we headed to the sports bar D'Pepe's to watch the game. Unknown to us, it is a French-Canadian expat hangout, so the game was in French. We still enjoyed the game, but the food was the worst of the trip. The ribs were good, but the nachos and chicken wings were terrible. As you may know, the game went into overtime, so it was Midnight here in Cabarete before it ended. First game I have watched in entirety, and in French to boot. We were on the beach with the sound of ocean waves, so it was beautiful on the beach. Today, we ventured back to the Seahorse Ranch, our favorite dinner spot in all of Cabarete right on the cliffs of north shore between Cabarete and Sousua. Absolutely stunning and the food was to die for. Excellent two days of sun, fun, food, and football of all things.
