We left port yesterday around 5 or 6pm and will be at sea for the next 3 days until we reach the Azores, our first port. Today was still cold on ship and windy. Jackets were needed and only the brave hit the pool and hot tubs. I did a lot of walking to explore the ship by myself as Yolanda was not feeling well. She may have a flu bug, not fun for our first day at sea. Hopefully she will recover before the Azores to go ashore. I my biggest fear has come to be, non-stop all you can eat and drink. I am weak!, had way to much ice cream and alcohol for sure on day 1. We finished the day with a nice Italian dinner. Yoli did not join us so I went back to the room to check on her as the others went on to some nightly entertainment on ship. The ship is making about 18-20kts headway into the wind with 4-6' seas. We can feel the boat roll side to side at times and certainly makes for a lively walk down the hallways. Course for the day, just eat, drink, and walking.
We might try our hand at some windy pickleball tomorrow.
